How back-land development can create sustainable cities

Developing small brownfield sites can play a critical role in promoting sustainability.  By curbing urban sprawl they preserve natural habitats and by utilizing existing infrastructure such delicate densification can bring high quality homes where people want them most,  encouraging more sustainable transportation patterns and reducing reliance on cars. During this talk, Caswell&Dainow will discuss the role of the small developer and grand designer in addressing these issues and highlight how intelligent design and innovative construction techniques can be used to champion a sustainable future.
