What can I do if I haven't received my confirmation email or have lost my tickets?

If you have booked your tickets through See Tickets, simply visit their support centre to access your tickets

Do carers need to purchase a ticket?

Visitors can request a carer ticket free of charge by either contacting See Tickets prior to the event with your name, order number and the reason you are requesting for a carer ticket. Otherwise, please collect carer's tickets from the box office on arrival.

How can I purchase a ticket to Green Living Live?

Can I access Grand Designs Live by purchasing a ticket for Green Living Live?

Yes, your ticket to Green Living Live will also grant you access to Grand Designs Live

What are the ticket prices?

Standard tickets - £12 - £15

On-the-door tickets - £17 weekday and £20 weekend

Child tickets - Free entry for children aged 15 and under

Are tickets available on-the-door?

Tickets will be available to buy at the event from the box office.

Are tickets valid for multiple days?

No, all tickets are available for one day only. Weekday tickets for any one weekday and weekend tickets for any weekend day (including Bank Holiday Monday for London's ExCeL)

In order to attend on multiple days you will need to purchase a new ticket for each new day you wish to attend.

Will I need a printed hard copy of my E-ticket?

Once purchasing your tickets, a confirmation email will be sent to you email with you tickets attached. At the event, you can show your attached tickets with a scannable barcode.

Is there a lost property at each venue?

London's ExCeL: Lost property is located by the west entrance, down the stairs, after Costa. If you have lost an item at the show and are no longer at the event please call: +44(0) 207 069 4500 or email

Birmingham's NEC: Lost property is located in the Piazza between Subway and Hall 1 within the Security Office, where all property is taken once the event is over. As well as, a smaller Security Office in the Atrium near Hall 6. If you have lost an item at the show and are no longer at the event please call: 0121 767 3883 for more assistance.

Will industry experts be available to speak to on a one-to-one basis at the event?

Yes, visitors can pre-book a 30-minute one-to-one consultation here or on the day on a first-come-first-serve basis with experts in various categories, covering all areas of your property. 

Is there a booking system for the live theatre sessions?

No, all live talks are included in your ticket, however we would recommend arriving 15 minutes before it begins in order to secure a seat at the theatre. You can plan ahead in regards to which talks you would like to see at the Sustainable Future Theatre here

Will there be food and drinks available at the event?

Yes, there is food and drink available at the event as well as around each venue, see their website for more information:

Can dogs attend the event?

Green Living Live only allows assistance dogs into the event.

Can children attend the event?

You can book a free ticket for children 15 and under if accompanied by an adult. This can be booked online with your order or collected from the box office on the day of your visit. A maximum of two children can attend the event per adult.

Will there be photography and videography taking place at the event?

The purchase of a ticket signifies acceptance that as members of the audience, ticket holders may be filmed, sound recorded and/or photographed for broadcast and/or future publicity.
